Project 2025

Trump is very close associates with many of the authors of this project. During the campaign, once he realized the project's goals were unpopular with most folks, he claimed he wasn't involved. Yet, 144 people involved with the project are now a part of his administration. Further, the policies he is trying t implement are all found in the Project 2025 literature.

Stewart Rhodes, is the far-right Oath Keepers extremist group founder. He was convicted of seditious conspiracy in the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on Capitol Hill. He was released from prison as part of the President Donald Trump’s clemency order for the more than 1,500 people charged in the riot.

Doris Kearns Goodwin. Historian, Pulitzer Prize winner, Author. So many great books. My favorite is Team of Rivals. This dense but very readable book tells about the genius of Abraham Lincoln, and in particular, how he created a team that included people who (gasp!) disagreed with him to ensure good governance, instead of a ring-kissing loyalty fest destined for over-reach and failure.
