Here goes...

1. Trump on the Iranian ship we blew up for no reason: “I got angry at my people. I said, they (the ships) are good ... I said, Why the hell did we kill them? Why didn’t we just capture them and use them in our Navy? And actually one of my general said: ‘Sir, it's a lot more fun doing it this way,’” he said.

2. “The US bombing of schoolchildren in Iran is the biggest single US massacre of civilians since My Lai. The Israeli bombing of Tehran’s oil storage constitutes the biggest single act of chemical warfare against a civilian population in history. Grotesque new depths of barbarism.”—Jason Hickel

3. There is evidence in the Epstein files about a convoluted real estate deal that made it possible for the Kremlin to secretly funnel $100 million to Trump in 2008.

4. The Iran war was NOT about taking out ballistic missiles, or an “imminent” threat, or destroying nuclear weapons capability (and remember, Trump told us in June that we “obliterated” that capability). It was, as usual, about oil.

Lindsay Graham went on Fox news (Appearing on "Sunday Morning Futures" with Maria Bartiromo) and said out loud that the war in Iran is about oil. He said America is going to make “a ton of money from it” (even if true, they still wouldn’t give us affordable healthcare, but I digress…. ) When he was asked how he’d justify spending a billion dollars a day on the war while oil prices are up 27% in a single week Graham called it the “best money ever spent”. Then he laid out the plan. “Venezuela and Iran sit on 31% of the world’s oil reserves”, Graham said, and once the US installs friendly governments in both countries, America will “have a partnership” with all of it.

Graham is shamelessly connecting the two operations (Venezuela, whose leader we kidnapped) and Iran.

Graham ended his Fox news appearance wearing a “Free Cuba” hat(!) He is promising that Cuba will be next. “We’re marching through the world. We’re clearing out the bad guys”. An untold number of people dead in Iran. Children were bombed in their classrooms. But Graham is giddy about the money. About Iran (smiling): “We are going to blow the Hell out of those people”. He said this AFTER we killed 160 school girls. I mean, how depraved can these people be!?? What a sick bastard this guy has turned out to be.

I’m reminded of the scene from the brilliant movie, Fargo, when Marge (the brilliant Frances McDormond) is talking to the pathetic perp at the end and says (so bleak), “There’s more to life than a little money, ya know. Doncha know that?”

5. Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, the guy who owns a firm (Affinity Partners) that is heavily funded by the Saudi’s (2 billion in of Saudi money) and invested in Israel, not a military or national security expert, and in fact, had his security clearance application denied in 2018 because of potential foreign influence, along with Steve Witfkoff real estate investor, advised Trump to attack Iran because of an imminent threat.

They are all pretending. It’s oil. Refer back to #4.

Well, they are pretending. But they are also incompetent and have such colossal egos they refuse to actually consult with experts on the subject. They made sure they only heard what they wanted to in other words.

According to MS Now (this is a very good read), Kushner gave a presentation during the Geneva negotiations and “Several nuclear experts have raised questions about the disastrous duo’s technical understanding of uranium enrichment after they presented an assessment of Iran’s Research Reactor that made no sense.”

“Witkoff and Kushner chose not to have nuclear technical experts present during negotiations in Geneva, a senior Middle East diplomat with knowledge of the talks told MS NOW. The United States then chose to skip out on technical talks scheduled for last Monday in Vienna.”

From the Arms Control Association, (also a good read) “Comments made by Witkoff in two background briefings with reporters on Feb. 28 and March 3, as well as media appearances since the strikes began, made clear that Witkoff did not have sufficient technical expertise or diplomatic experience to engage in effective diplomacy. His lack of knowledge and mischaracterization of Iran’s positions and nuclear program throughout the process likely informed Trump’s assessment that talks were not progressing and Iran was not negotiating seriously.”

Bottom line, we sent real estate investors to pretend to negotiate with Iran and they got the outcome they wanted. How many people will die because of male egos and dumbassery?

6. Human Rights Watch is reporting that Israel unlawfully dropped white phosphorus on a populated area in Lebanon.

White phosphorus can be used in war for lighting an area at night or for a smoke screen. It is illegal to use it on people. I am not going to describe what it does to humans, because it is God-awful, but there is a reason it is a war crime.

My question is WHY ARE WE PARTNERING WITH A GENOCIDAL MANIAC LIKE NETANYAHU!?!? Apparently is it because our government is now teeming with genocidal maniacs with a sprinkling of Armageddon obsessed religious fanatics.

7. A Charleston South Carolina newspaper was able to verify 16 of the claims made by Trump's teen rape accuser, so far. So, the question is, where is the national media on this?

Also, why do you suppose the Epstein Estate would be paying settlements to women who have accused Trump of rape and sexual abuse through Epstein’s trafficking activities?

8. Oh hey, remember when Trump admitted white South Africans as refugees because of “white genocide”? Well, Home Affairs Minister Leon Schreiber said 1,000 people had reclaimed their (South African) citizenship, a number he expected to grow… “. Because it’s too dangerous HERE.

9. They are lying to us about war casualties. I mean, of course they are.

10. From WSJ: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the following: “Any Arab or European country that expels the ambassadors of the United States and 'Israel' will be granted full freedom of passage through the Strait of Hormuz.” These are not stupid people.

11. “Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has gutted the Pentagon oversight offices that would have investigated the recent strike on an Iranian girls’ school — a move that has degraded America’s ability to protect civilians amid its largest air campaign in decades.” (Politico) He reduced the staffing by 90% because it didn’t contribute his goal of “lethality”. And if you read last week’s edition you know that Kegseth thinks limiting damage to civilians and having rules of engagement is for sissies.

13. This is how social media is making us crazy. On Threads this was a post about the following: The Trump administration warned us about Iran possibly launching a drone attack on California. Then, “coincidentally”, on the same day, the Army offered an award for 4 drones they say were stolen from Fort Campbell…way back in November.

People on SM started calling this a “false flag” operation (meaning the Trump Admin would make something terrible happen on US soil, find a way to say Iran did it, and that would be reason for expanding the war and suspending elections). So, my thought was, how were drones stolen from an Army base and why are we just now hearing about it now?

Well, I looked a little further and they are small surveillance drones (Skydio X10D) that you can hold in your hand.

Maybe I’m missing something but I’m not sure how those could cause a catastrophe “false flag” operation of any magnitude.

Also, I’ve gotten real tired of right wing Q-anon, conspiracy nut jobs calling every story in the news about a perp on their side doing something awful, a “false flag” committed by the Left – usually “Antifa”. It’s dumb. So dumb.

I’m not saying the Trump Admin wouldn’t do it. They would. But I’m going to wait for the actual evidence.

Too many people are taking posts on SM at face value without even bothering to do one Google search. Just because it sounds like something they might do doesn’t mean they did, and jumping to conclusions like that makes us look as stupid as the afore-mentioned right wing, Q-anon conspiracy nut jobs. I refuse to let us do that.

14. I told you last week about how the White House keeps posting AI videos with “war as video game” themes, using Call of Duty and such. Now they have posted some with kids video imagery from Nintendo’s Wii, and ……. Pokémon.

15. Hey guess what folks, Iran is now trolling Trump with “Pixar”-like videos. THE WORLD HAS DESCENDED INTO ABSOLUTE MADNESS! ALL BECAUSE OF THE FUCKING (sorry mom) LUNATIUC IN THE WHITE HOUSE.

Did you see the story about the US military dropping bombs on…drawings of planes? Yes, Iran drew the outlines of planes on the ground, it fooled the US, and we bombed the drawings. So, Iran made this video:

Again, the whole world has gone mad because of one lunatic.

16. Here Kegseth basically “writes a poem” about military lethality and Senator Brian Schats shreds him. Well done Senator.

17. I hope you can read this “Dear Citizens of the United States” Threads by Willem Luijkx even if you don’t have a Threads account because this guy nails it.

18. Trump removed sanctions on Russian oil in hopes that oil prices would come down. So now Russia is making bank while offering Iran intelligence about where to target American soldiers. Meanwhile those sanctions were in place because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine – and this is happening while Ukraine is actually helping the US against drone attacks from Iran (it’s complicated). But will Trump or Vance say thank you?

All I can say is war is so destructive and so bloody dumb. People die senselessly. No one will ever go to war over solar or wind and those resources are infinite. As I pointed out last week, they won’t get hung up in the Strait of Hormuz. And they don’t destroy our one and only home, planet earth.

I am again thinking about the Frances McDormand quote in Fargo.

19. Okay, last one. Have you heard about the Trump – shoe story? Well, apparently Trump just loves his $145 Florsheim shoes. According to The Wall Street Journal, He likes to give them to the people around him. But he can’t be bothered to find out their size (I mean I feel like he has people who could do that, anyway) so he just guesses. He’s mostly wrong but the men just wear them anyway.
