Here goes.. (This is a short one folks. Your welcome.)
1. Rob Schmit from Newsmax: “People are using SNAP benefits to get their nails done, to get their weaves and their hair. This is a really ugly program.” Senator Ron Johnson: “That program needs to be dramatically reformed.” Absolute, utter garbage, sprinkled with racism. They just can’t quit Reagan’s “welfare queen” schtick.
2. ICE’s own data shows that 72% of people detained have no criminal record. (Fortune Magazine).
3. Senator Tuberville on Trump trying to serve a third term: "He might be able to go around the Constitution, but that's up to him." It’s what now? Really? I’m sorry, there are a lot of dumb people in congress, but Coach is really excelling at it.
4. Trump fired all 6 members of the Arts Commission that should be overseeing his construction of the ballroom. (Newsweek, Politico)
5. In this week’s edition of “Why is JD Vance Such an Asshole” in his speech at a Turning Point USA event he said: "When settlers came to the new world they found widespread child sacrifice. If you go to historical sites where there are brothels and you dig up the bones of women, you will find a lot of children buried with them. Christian civilization ended the practice of child sacrifice." Not only is this not true but there is evidence of US soldiers throwing Indian babies into rivers, Indian children be being taken from their parents and dying because of abuse in Christian boarding schools. Mormon massacres of Indians in Utah. I mean, Trail of Tears, anyone? How about smallpox contaminated blankets? Our history of atrocities against Indians is very well documented. What is his point FFS other than having a laughable Christian superiority complex?
And he is still talking about Haitians taking over towns in the U.S. and eating cats and dogs. The racism is strong with these people.
6. National Security Threat Pete Kegseth fired the Chief of Naval Research, Rear Admiral Kurt Rothenhaus, replacing him with 33-year-old former DOGE staffer Rachel Riley, who has absolutely no military experience whatsoever. Great. Just great. (Navy Times)
7. Sen. Lindsey Graham to the Republican Jewish Coalition. Apparently, he thought it was funny.: "I feel good about the Republican Party and where we're going as a nation. We're killing all the right people and we're cutting your taxes… Trump is my favorite president. We've run out of bombs."
8. On 60 Minutes, Trump said the US has 0 microchip plants, but in 2 years we'll have some. The thing is - we have 76. He says we'll have 50% of the market and companies will "come back." Aaaaand, we already have 732 companies here, all of which simultaneously operate abroad. (Substack Technology and Global Affairs) The BS is unending.
9. American College of Physicians Calls for Removal of Secretary Kennedy at HHS (or as I now call him, Secretary of Health and Human Sacrifice). Ya think?!?
