1. Yes, he posted this.
2. Trump EPA Approves Its SECOND ‘Forever Chemical’ Pesticide in Two Weeks, greenlighting it to be sprayed on or food. There is a reason other countries do not want to import our food products. Also, there is only one reason to do this – make chemical industries (who make political donations)richer, and who cares if people are made sick.
3. Denmark studied 1.2 MILLION children over 24 years and found that aluminum in vaccines had no link (at all) to chronic health conditions. The anti-vexers (like RFK JR., Secretary of Health and Human Sacrifice) have been alleging the opposite for years. Reuters is reporting that Elon Musk’s DOGE was quietly shut down 8 months early after reports indicate it froze essential programs, rehired thousands of employees it had fired, WASTED more than $21.7 billion, and ultimately increased federal spending. (Newsweek, TIME Magazine, Yahoo) Hundreds of thousands of people’s lives upended, cancer research cut, USAID defunded, millions of people are going to die because of these cuts – while some Trump supporting Evangelicals say, well, poor people die every day, so
What Musk did accomplish was shutting down all of the various fraud and ethics investigations into his companies. So, there’s that.
5. In a new Conversations in Upside-Down Land feature, I present Grifters and Their Marks, A whole bunch of Trump supporters handed over $499 for the “Trump Phone”. Not surprisingly (to some of us), There is still no phone, no production, no shipments, no refunds, no new cellular service (as promised) and no explanation. (NBC, Business Insider, The Dailey Beast). How long are people going to fall for this crap? There has been a very (very) long list of scams launched by the Trump family. The most recent and perhaps most profitable is his crypto scam while in office(!) Oh, and remember when Trump put his name on the…….BIBLE…… called it the Trump Bible and sold them, and went so far as to AUTOGRAPH ……the Bible…?
6. In this week’s edition of Why is JD Vance Such an Asshole?, Vance posted this (and Trump of course reposted it). They continue to double-down on stating straight out that they want a king instead of a president – a dictatorship instead of a democracy.
7. The national debt has surpassed $38 trillion. $2 trillion of that has been added to since Trump took office. Trump added between 7.8 and 8.4 trillion to the debt during his first term.
8. Well, it wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without a a barrage of hateful, unhinged, and frankly, stupid, messages from Trump. In one of his speeches, he called the governor of Illinois (Pritzger) a “big, fat, slob” (which is weird considering how fond Trump is of mirrors). He called Governor Waltz “seriously retarded” (my apologies for repeating the slur). He made an Islamophobic joke directed at “the worst ‘Congressman/woman’ in our Country, Ilhan Omar, always wrapped in her swaddling hijab”. Well, you can read the whole “inspirational message of unity and thankfulness” for yourself…
9. Also ON THANKSGIVING Donald Trump, ordered the removal of reports on missing and murdered native Americans.
10. There are so many daily atrocities that we must try not to forget because not only is accountability is the only prevention, but the people affected are still suffering. So please don’t forget that Homeland Security sent 280 men to be tortured in an El Salvadoran jail, without notification or due process, in defiance of a court order, and nothing has happened to any of the people responsible.
11. Indigenous actor Elaine Miles of "Northern Exposure" was detained by ICE at a Redmond, Washington bus stop. When she showed them her Tribal ID, they told her it was fake.
12. A 19-year-old college student on her home for Thanksgiving passed through security and was about to board her flight in Boston, when she was arrested by ICE and then deported to Honduras. Any Lucia Lopez Belloza has lived in the United States since she was eight years old, and a federal court ordered her not to be removed. But the Trump administration deported her anyway.(Newsweek, The Guardian, The Independent, AP News)
13. Remember last week when Trump told a female reporter “Quiet, quiet, piggy”? Well this week he said this after a female reporter asked a question about the suspect in the attack on NG troops in DC, “Are you stupid? Are you a stupid person?”
14. When Trump was asked if he is going to the funeral of one of the NG troops attacked in DC his response was, “I haven't thought about it yet, but it's certainly something I can conceive of. I love West Virginia. You know, I won West Virginia by one of the biggest margins of any president anywhere.”
15. These. Boat. Attacks. Are. War. Crimes. Except that we are not at war, so it’s straight up murder. No evidence of drugs onboard. No due process. Consciously making a decision to murder survivors clinging to the boat you just blew up. “Kill them all.” – Hegseth.

16. I also must point out that on the day of the most recent boat attacks (you know, "going after drug traffickers"), Trump pardoned one of the most renown drug traffickers in history.
17. Trump keeps saying stuff like this. Look, I don’t do math much, but I’m pretty sure you can’t drop the price of anything more than 100%. Who reads this and thinks, “Oh heck yeah!”.
Also, remember when Trump said “affordability was a “made up word” and a “democratic con job”? (Yahoo, NYT)
One more thing, "Favored Nation Status"? What exactly is that, and can we give it to ourselves?
18. Why is Homeland Security posting things like this? Really, why? Could it be that Western Civilization” to the Trump Administration means “white supremacy”?
19. I love this doomscrolling break. It is awesome but also makes me sad. Our president could have been a normal, decent person - a smart, compassionate, highly educated and experienced, and joyful, president. (make sure sound is on)
