Here goes...

1. The Right Is Sneering at Renee Good. What Is Broken in Their Souls?

2. Trump’s DOJ is launching an investigation into Fed Chair Jerome Powel because Trump doesn’t understand economics and hates smart people who are smarter than he is. The most mild-mannered guy in the country with the world’s most boring job is having to say “Stop trying to arrest us for doing math” (that’s a joke – he didn’t say that – exactly but kinda).

3. Again, an absolute rejection of our founding fathers’ vision and the statement at the base of the Statue of Liberty, and just basic decency. This message came from OUR GOVERNMENT.

4. ICE, or Trump’s MAGAstappo, is literally going door to door or out on the street asking people where they were born (yo - what does it matter where someone is born? It's irrelevant to their supposed mission. What kind of question is that?. Ordering them to provide proof of citizenship. Aside from utterly anti-American/pro-Nazi this is, just think at this point anyone who is asked to show their ID needs to say, you show me your ID. Where is your badge? How do I know you are not a serial killer in a cop costume??? It's been known to happen.

5. Justice department lawyers are resigning over the DOJ decision not to investigate the killing of Minnesota mom, Renee Good by ICE agent Jonathan Ross.

6. Trump Administration says we taxpayers will pay $83 billion to rebuild Venezuela oil infrastructure. So, 1, you know that means $160 billion, and 2, according to Republicans, we just don’t have enough money to pay for universal healthcare. Nope.

7. The administration is also talking about buying Greenland for $700 Billion.

8. This is great analysis from a former law enforcement officer on the ICE shooting of Renee Good.

9. They arrested Robbie the giraffe. Do they not understand how ridiculous this makes them look?

What I like best is the veteran who yells this, “leave the giraffe alone"..."you've got rifle mags on your vest, and you don't have a rifle".

10. I’ve been calling all of the ICE, IMP, Nazi-like. But I’ve now heard several black people refer to them as behaving also (or more) like slave patrols – slave catchers. It is very compelling, especially after you learn (which I recently did) that the Nazis studied extensively American race law and Jim Crow as well as segregation and reservation practices with Native Americans. Neat.

11. Case in point, this woman was trying to get to a doctor appointment when a protest broke out on the street where. A dozen testosterone freaks started screaming at her at once. They dragged her out of the car even though she frantically told them, “I am autistic, and diabetic and I’m trying to get to a doctor appointment”. This heartbreaking. What is wrong with these people?

They took her to a detention center where they denied her medical care. She passed out because, you know, she has diabetes.

12. In which The President of the United Staes of America flips off an autoworker. He is the snowflakiest of all of the snowflakes

13. Good News Alert: Federal judge Amit Mehta rules that it was illegal for the Trump Admin to terminate environmental grants in blue states.

15. Becca Good just watched ICE shoot her wife in the face 3 times and Trump says this at a rally. "One of the reasons they're doing these fake riots-- I mean they're just terrible. It's so fake. 'Shame! Shame! Shame!' You see the woman. It's all practiced. They take hotel rooms and they all practice together. It's a whole scam. We're finding out who's funding all this stuff too." (Becca is the one who was screaming “shame” after watching this atrocity). Trump is making fun of Becca. I hate him with the heat of a thousand suns.

16. “Absolute immunity”. Absolute immunity? ABSOLUTE immunity??

17. The Trump administration sent hundreds of letters Tuesday terminating federal grants supporting mental health and drug addiction services. Look folks, screw your loved ones who have addiction or mental health issues. Trump needs his ballroom, and we need Greenland event though we have lots of military bases there and they are our ally. Obviously.

18. What fresh Hell is this? The Trump Admin (EEOC) is demanding a list of Jews from the University of Pennsylvania, “including personal emails, phone numbers and home addresses”. They say they are cracking down on antisemitism and want to contact Jews to see if they have experienced any. 1. You can’t believe anything these people say. 2, From the article, “Part of what sets off alarm bells for people like me is a history of people using Jewish lists against Jews,” he said . “The Nazi campaign against Jews depended on institutions like universities handing over information about their Jewish members to the authorities. As Jewish study scholars, we know well the dangers of collecting such information,” said Beth Wenger, who teaches Jewish history at Penn. 3. No effing way.

19. Well, good to see some current and former ICE agents expressing concern over the way agent Jonathan Ross conducted himself when he fired on Renee Good.

20. Meanwhile “Border Czar”, Greg Bovino is doing his best Colonel Klink impersonation.

21. Trump said this week that the civil rights movement was “really bad” for white people.

22. This week Trump 1. Threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act in Minneapolis, and 2. Said we should not have mid-term elections. Folks, SOME OF US HAVE BEEN SAYING SINCE INNAUGURATION DAY THAT THIS IS WHAT HE WAS LEADING UP TO. YES I’M YELLING. I’ve been told for 11 years that people like me are over-reacting.

23. Good news is good. From Reuters via Alt National Park, “Wow! In a clear rejection of the Trump administration’s push to sharply reduce funding for federal science agencies, the United States Senate voted to allocate billions more than requested for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NASA, and the National Science Foundation. By an 82–15 margin, senators approved a “minibus” spending package that funds science, environmental, and related agencies through September 30. The legislation had already cleared the United States House of Representatives last week in an overwhelming 397–28 vote, signaling strong bipartisan support for maintaining (and expanding) federal investment in science and research!”

24. The Minnesota Star Tribune is reporting that Renee Nicole Good was shot 4 times. (that source is behind a paywall so here is reporting from USA Today). Only one went through the windshield (and likely was not fatal). The other three were fired through her driver SIDE WINDOW. Further, when paramedics got there she apparently had a weak pulse. She was not dead. Please remember – a man was barred from rendering aid on the scene. After identifying himself as a physician, an ICE agent said, “I don’t care.”. Reuters

25. Oh hey, Trump got his Nobel prize, because the person who it was awarded to gave it to him – desperately trying to save her country, Venezuela. He seems to think it is the same thing as winning it. Hey, he has the trophy, so he must have. It’s very “…born on third base, thought he hit a triple…” kind of thing.

Merit, folks. Merit. That’s what they told us, right?

26. One month after a bi-partisan Congress overwhelmingly voted to release of the Epstein files, only 1% have been released. Just a reminder that in November we found out – through investigative reporting by WSJ, - that there are 2,234 email threads in the files and guess what, Trump is mentioned in 1,670 of them.
