Here goes...

1. A private jet belonging to prominent anti-MAGA / anti-Trump Texas lawyers crashed in Maine. Eight passengers are dead. They started a well funded PAC to help fight MAGA candidates in Texas. Look, I don’t know.

2. Kash Patel said it was illegal to carry guns at a protest (hint – it’s not – and he is the head of the FBI). Trump said no one should take guns to a protest. Bondi and Noem echoed the same. Oh, who else remembers these protests over masks during COVID?

Then there was that time when Trump was at the Epiltical right before the insurrection and demanded that the metal detectors be removed. “They (the crowd) aren’t there to hurt me” .

3. Alex Pretti was murdered, and this photo shows that pretty clearly.

4. This is a letter from a Minnesota police officer who is pleading with President Trump to stop destroying the trust that is essential to policing.

5. ICE agents pepper sprayed protestors as they drove by.

6. ICE agent says this to a man in Minnesota: “I will tell you this brother. You know. I will tell you this. You raise your voice. I’ll erase your voice.” Thes guys are untrained, undisciplined, testosterone junkies with anger management issues and the emotional intelligence of a juvenile delinquent 13 year old. The all want to be Rambo (but clearly didn’t understand the movie).

Also this man is Latino – I’m completely baffled.

7. Trump suddenly gave up on taking Greenland. Apparently, EU sources disclosed that Europe successfully used U.S. debt securities to pressure Trump on Greenland. A Danish pension fund had begun dumping debt securities and the EU was ready to do the same on a massive scale to crumble the U.S. economy. I have no idea what this means, and as a rule, I don’t do math, but it seems to have worked. More of this please.

8. ICE has killed 9 people so far in 2026.Alex Pretti, Renee Good, Keith Porter, Heber Sanchaz Domínguez, Victor Manuel Diaz, Parady La Luis Beltran Yanez-Cruz, Luis Gustavo Nunez Caceres, Geraldo Lunas Campos. That is in less that 4 weeks. In the city of Minneapolis in 2025 there were 64 murders – an average of 5.3 a month.

9. Some dipshit tried to spray Ilhan Omar – a whisper of a thing - with some liquid and she just about opened a can of whoopass on him but then remembered she was in congress. The way she balls up that fist and prepares to use it! After that she finishes her remarks. Damn! Between fleeing with her family from a Somali civil war and spending 4 years in a refugee camp, that woman has seen some things. Do not mess.

10. You know how I keep saying these ICE agents don’t seem to be very well trained? (Good God)

11. ICE agents have arrest quotas. I’m convinced this is driving a lot of their bad behavior.

12. FBI RAIDED A GEORGIA ELECTION OFFICE IN ATLANTA AND TOOK OFF WITH 700 BOXES RELATED TO THE 2020 ELECTION, INCLUDING ALL PHYSICAL BALLOTS. The Georgia results in 2020 were audited many times. Biden won. Period. That Trump is wasting government resources on yet another unending Trump tantrum is pathetic. And what effing judge signed a warrant to let the guy who claimed – without any evidence – and who lost every Georgia election court case - that the Georgia election - audited two times - was stolen, get his grubby hands on the actual ballots?! (yes, that sentence was an abomination. I’m sorry Mr. Callahan, (my high school English teacher) for murdering the English language.)

13. Oh hey, the Republican “Freedom Caucus” is urging Trump to use the Insurrection Act to support ICE operations.

14. Right after Alex Pretti was murdered by ICE agents, Kristi – puppy killer – Noem came right out of the gate suggesting Pretti was a domestic terrorist and went to a protest (he didn’t – there wasn’t a protest) to kill as many ICE agents as he could. Bovino said the same thing. And I mean the exact same thing (weird). After all of the videos and eye-witness accounts of the murder came out and even Republicans were saying – uh – that’s clearly not what happened. So she says…get this…I was just saying what Miller and Trump told me to. WHAT?!?!?!?!?

Please bear with me. SHE IS THE HEAD OF THE US DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE. This is a real job. An important job. She doesn’t understand that she has an actual job – like following the EVIDENCE when a crime takes place to achieve, you know, ACTUAL JUSTICE – so criminals are arrested and innocent people are protected. She and all of the rest of the Cabinet think are are simply meant to provide good PR for Trump. That’s it.

The embarrassing and transparent cosplaying with her effing cowboy hats, and flak jackets and assault rifles along with Mara Lago lips, plenty of makeup and tight jeans is just PR. PRETEND to care about your job but most of all, make Trump look good.

But it’s worse than that. She said it out loud. Out loud. By admitting she takes her marching orders from Miller regardless of what the actual facts in the case are, shows us all very clearly – SHE DOESN’T CARE WHAT THE ACTUAL JOB IS. So now she and Miller and Trump are having a cat fight in public like a bunch of 8th grade mean girls while the Constitution is a heap of smoldering ashes. I can’t bloody take it.

Okay, I really needed that rant. Thank you.

15. Welp. Fox news actually showed this graphic.

16. Trump said during a Cabinet meeting that he wants to 'drive housing prices up' to keep homeowners 'wealthy' rather than focusing on affordability to benefit people who 'didn't work very hard'. Just last week he said he wanted to drive house prices down, and lower mortgages.

17. A conservative judge (W. Bush appointee), Judge Patrick J. Schiltz, in Minnesota says ICE has violated nearly 100 court orders – that it is likely much higher than that given the extreme pace of the cases coming to court. He said ICE had disobeyed more judicial directives this month than “some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence.” Who is going to do anything about it?? No, really, who?

18. Question from a reporter: “What would do you say to those that are critical of the fact that Amazon paid $40 million to acquire the rights for this movie?” TRUMP: “Well, I think they'd have to go and ask President Obama, who got paid a lot of money and hasn't done anything.”

Trump’s obsession with Obama is absolutely pathological. And it’s weird to make a statement like that publicly and not understand how weird it is.

19. Four prominent Black journalists, including Don Lemon were ARRESTED after a Judge and a Federal appellate court refused to issue a warrant for their arrest. Pam Bondi, who is just as bad as Puppy Killer Noem had this to say…

Again, we have no system of justice or Constitution if the law is ignored entirely and no one does anything about it.

20. ICE is using facial recognition technology to identify not only undocumented immigrants but people simply observing. They are then doing things like cancelling their TSA pre-check privileges and such. Y’all, this is a what a police state is.

21. ICE agents are forcibly breaking into homes and business, nabbing people and claiming they do not need a warrant to do so. They are not even distinguishing between a judicial warrant and an administrative one. They are just saying they don’t need one. Again – Constitution - 4th amendment – going up in flames.

22. Now this is a beautiful thing. Danish veterans march in protest, in silence, to the U.S. embassy in Copenhagen.

23. This week there was (finally) another Epstein file dump. For my own mental health, I am not spending a lot of time studying that. What I have seen is horrific.. I am not going to focus on it in this blog, because I honestly can’t stomach it. I’d never sleep again. My advice to the good people who read this blog – know it’s bad, worse than you can imagine, but don’t delve into the details. A lot of us are approaching a tipping point mentally and physically and I am afraid of what the tipping will actually look like. We have to try to stay informed, stay active, and also take care of ourselves the best we can.

For purposes of this blog, I am focusing on these things…

a. Trump campaigned non-stop on releasing the Epstein files.

b. And when he became president (however he did that) AG Pam Boni said she had the Epstein list on her desk.

c. Then Trump told his supporters to drop it (someone must have given him an idea what was actually in them). He told his surprised supporters that they were stupid for not letting it go. And right on queue, they mostly did. I guess kids being trafficked and exploited isn’t that important anymore. You know – Dear Leader told them to knock it off, so they did, with a few notable exceptions (MTG for one).

d. Then Bondi said there was no list.

e. Kash Patel testified under oath that there is no evidence Epstein trafficked children for anyone but himself (this Cabinet is such a joke).

f. A couple big tranches of files drop – the latest being 3 million pages (!)

g. Trump’s name is all over them. He is named thousands of times. There is very explicit, shocking testimony referencing Trump specifically, doing truly horrific things.

h. Not even that will shake the Trump programming. I’ve seen on social media comments from supporters like, “I can believe they are still talking about that.” And “sometimes young people do this to make money. You can’t really call that rape.”

i. And as always, Republicans in leadership do nothing. Nothing. Both because they are feckless and afraid of Trump and because guess what, some of their names are in there too! No previous president or congressperson would have survived this. WE DO NOT HAVE A FUNCTIONING GOVERNMENT ANYMORE.

24. Yikes, I cannot end this blog post on that note. Instead, let me ask this, when you go to a march or a protest are you prepared? If you are in your car and you end up in a neighborhood where ICE is operating or there is civil unrest, are you prepared? Do you have what you need?

Here is a guide from Human Rights Campaign

I keep a backpack in my truck, stocked and ready to go at all times. Next week I’ll create and share a list of what I keep in it.

25. In the meantime, things are really hard right now (duh...). If you suffer through this exhausting blog (God bless you), you are not in denial about it all (I see you). And, we have to remember that beautiful things still happen every day. This is one of my favorites.
